Anyone have experience on clozapine? Did it work for you? How did it work? What dosage were you on? How long did it take to start noticing effects from it?

I’m taking 300 mg of clozapine. I don’t think it is working for me. My pdoc is thinking about trying another medicine. I took it at least 2 years. Minor side effects.

Yes I have voices.

I take 600 mg of Clozapine. So far it is the medicine that has helped me most. It helps me sleep and reduces the voices. Side effects are weight gain and drowsiness.

How long did it take you to get to 600 mg. How much has it helped with the voices? Were your voices coming from someone you knew?
It took me some months to get to 600 mg. It has helped quite a bit with this voices. I can’t stand it without the Clozapine. My voices are not from anyone I know in real life.
I’m on it now, and its been for years, I take 100mg,
Nortryptyline reduces side effects of it like drooling or always being hungry, I take 50mg of Nortryptyline alongside too,
