Thanks, I just spoke with my pdoc. It was a good conversation. He congratulated me on getting a job, my first in almost 2 decades, but I told him I had to cut down my shifts to 1 or 2 a week cause I am so tired, luckily my job doesn’t care, they say I have to work 1 shift a month at a minimum else I get fired.
I explained to him all the different meds I have tried between him and my other doctor and that clonazepam seems to work best.
He agreed to prescribe me 2mg of clonazepam for a week to sleep, but he said it will build up in my system and I may be able to come down to 1mg or 0.5mg after that. He was concerned about 2mg because it is a fairly high dose. So I will be experimenting over the next few weeks. I’m to try it out and then report back to him next month.

Clonazepam is a good medication for chronic anxiety.
I do agree it can be addictive or habit forming.
