I stalemated a 2100-ish IM by a fluke during my club playing days. Probably like a 1600 player now though, at best. Stopped playing due to video games, and eventually stopped video games due to my elbow issues (was an FPS fanatic for over 10 years.)

I’ve been playing chess for about 45 years, and I’m not much better than I was 45 years ago. I do love the game, though.

Yeah I love chess. It’s been a long time since I’ve played because I got into other tile games like bones (dominoes), and Go!
I used to have a couple chess sets, I have 2 dominoe sets, and I want a Go! set. I had some good chess sets. Those nice glass ones with the clear and frosted glass pieces and tiles. I was planing on buying a golden domino set but my cousin already got me a double 15 set and I think that is quite enough along with my double 6 set.

i’d like to try the tri-dominoes game where each piece has 3 sides, i saw it on a stall at the Christmas market,
i’d also like to try 3D Chess, think that would be cool.
@SkinnyMe its not the winning that counts its the taking part, i have been playing the computer at skill level 3 and recently put it up one level to 4 and there are 10 levels, you could start at level 1 and learn how to play better
