Anyone learning Spanish?

Everything here where I alive is bilingual with Spanish, and there is a substantial Hispanic community. The Mexican Consulate office is here too.

So anyway I’ve been wanting to learn Spanish. I’ve been using Duolingo to learn and am paying $12.99 a month for the premium service. Is anyone else trying to learn Spanish? I really wouldn’t be able to help much as I am a beginner with no Spanish before.

But I was thinking it might be nice to pm someone for help with Spanish.

Learning Spanish could help you get a job. It’s a plus to be bilingual. Where I’m from Texas I should know Spanish by now.

Thanks @roxanna. I didn’t think about the job benefits to learning.

Sí, estoy asprendiendo espanol. He vivido en Espana antes.

I’m following an intensive Spanish course right now! It’s 3 hours a day at the Instituto Cervantes in Brussels.

Nothing beats face to face classes to learn a language. It’s the 4th language I’m learning so I have some experience.

I had to know basic Spanish when I worked in the call center. I still used translators but I learned a lot every day.
