Anyone know the specifics on karxt?

Yeah so i think karxt is 2 drugs.
1 drug agonizes the m1 to m5 receptor, and they give you another drug to antagonoze the m2 m3 and m5 receptors. Hipefully its better then current meds but we wont know until it comes out

I have never heard of it but like others said I had negatives before I ever started antipsychotics.

I canā€™t really read or comprehend the PANNS scores with drugs like KARxt. It seems very week on the scale. Like a 21 point drop? Donā€™t know if they are accurately testing long term effects of how well it treats negative symtoms as these may get better and better overtime as they say is the case with Ulotaront. If anyone knows it would be good to find out thank you

21 points is the same as vraylar or abilify, the difference between it and placebo is around 7.5 for ulotaront which is similar to vraylar and abilify.

So if you are ā€œtreatedā€ on abilify or vraylar, its very likely that this medicine will work for you

@Johnnrocato56 i kind of dont trust the data from these clinical trials, i feel they manipulate the data to make sure it passes and gets fda approved. I want either peoples personal experience on the meds, or i want to try the drugs personally.

I donā€™t think they are manipulating data. Itā€™s probably pretty accurate and thereā€™s a lot of it I just canā€™t decifer any of the numbers. Yes itā€™s all about the expierence of it. They defiently are purposely keeping pretty tight lipped about it and patient expierences. I imagine in case the drug fails. I do know Steve Paul the CEO of Karuna said in an interview that the medication has the potential to treat a wide variety of conditions and ailements in the future and pretty much anyone would benefit from it which is great news

Yeah so another 2 years until this medication gets released. So assuming this drug is a miracle cure. Then that means just another 2 more years of suffering. Hopefully this drug is a real game changer like we hope it is. I really dont like the current meds, so it would be nice if infact this drug is real good.
