I have about 2 months before I can start my job as a paraprofessional tutor. I figured maybe I can drive for lyft a couple hours a week on top of all my other responsibilities.
As a side note I think I am getting a little manic from thyroid meds. I applied to volunteer with a high school debate team, a mental health advocacy group, and am taking an online class already. Should I really add lyft to the list of things I want to do? Is it a easy job? Do you need your own car or can it be under my dad or mom’s name?

I take this thread back. My parents won’t let me drive for lyft or uber.

Just as an aside…how much do you earn per km/mile etc…
I’m interested with anyone who knows about this! What is the basics of the ride sharing services for those who don’t know???

I get a $1.15 a kilometer. I’m on the gold coast Australia. It could be more in Sydney. I think cairns is $1.25 a kilometer. You just need a car that is 2010 or newer. You can do uber delivery with an older car but you’ll make more if you do both uberX and uber eats together.
