Talk to a doctor before you do anything dear.
I haven’t been ill since 2010…pdoc’s call that ‘‘remission’’ as in no symptoms of my diagnose of schizoaffective disorder…
im not stopping my meds I need them IMO
U know urself better then me…do what u like to do… anyways take good care of urself u are kind man…
Well I’m glad your symptoms are so improved that’s good! Sorry I misunderstood! I didn’t mean anything bad by it I’m sorry.
thanks far,
your heart is in the right place…
IMO by helping other’s in life you help yourself…!
As from today I am in remission, as I no longer have positive symptoms on my diagnosis, and can’t be diagnosed with schizophrenia for just having negative symptoms alone.
I’m stable, but not in remission
I didn’t take offence to your post… @Noise…
am just spending knowledge that recovery to feel well is totally possible dispite diagnosis
U nailed it peter …i feel good when i can help other in their problem…it boosts my self esteem… i like to appriciate u peter…u are a kind fellow…keep doing right…
@Simonw ,
Interesting. You live in UK right? Apart from a very mild relapse 3 days ago, I have only had negative symptoms for 3 years. And my diagnosis has always been schizophrenia.
I have not had any positive symptoms in the last 8 years, maybe my doctor didn’t think my negative symptoms were bad enough for a sz diagnosis.
it good to know others that are diagnosed with a life long illness can progress well on this journey
stable is the sign that remission is on the way IMO
I am still on antipsychotics and antidepressants for the foreseeable future, with no review date, even my nurse isn’t going to see me anymore, apart from an annual health check.
Nah, i need meds, or it all falls apart
