None of my doctors have been remotely like her. Pretty much all of mine have been interested in meds 90% of the time. She seems more like a Freud kind of doctor.

I think in America, therapists can prescribe. Not so in Europe anywhere that I know of. Only psychiatrists. @Anna gets her meds from a therapist.
She’s not just a therapist she’s also a nurse practitioner so she’s licensed to prescribe medication already. The only way a pure psychologist would be able to prescribe is if you lived in the state of New Mexico or Louisiana, though it is a permit that is expected to be expanded in the future.

I have had lots of nurses prescribing for me here in Massachusetts.
