Anyone had deep teeth cleaning before?

How was it? Did it hurt?

You mean deep gum cleaning? Yes, it hurt a little. Not as bad as I thought it would.

After the needle pokes to numb you up it’s smooth sailing. I wish they would numb me up for every cleaning!

How many injections did they give you? Did they hurt?

There were 3 injections for each side of the mouth (they broke up the cleaning over two appointments) and only the first one hurt. Also, i drooled a lot after the cleaning cuz my mouth was numb for most of the day and liquids dribbled out!

I won’t do it without injection.

Depends on your teeth health.

Deep cleaning instantly touches nerves and shoots up a head ringing pain for me.

You can test how sensitive right under your gums with a pick or your nail if it’s painful.

Oh where ever I have teeth the inject quadrants.

I had trauma from the dentist when I was younger so I tended to avoid them as much as possible. Until I found my present dentist. He gives me laughing gas to relax me and when I ready he gets on with the work very skillfully.
My teeth are really bad but I go and get them fixed and deep cleaned every 3 months. Then he fixes any problems.
I’m getting veneers fitted this month. So I will have a smile with teeth finally,
So don’t be afraid, ask for gas or numbing jabs. Treat yourself to that deep cleaning.
