My newest med made me feel sick and well, I threw up, I notice the med does give me tummy aches and I can’t stomach down much for a few hours or less.
I am not a fan of the whole sickness bit, so if anyone has any ideas how to prevent it, please tell me!
I’m weary it’ll happen again.
What med is this?
Try taking it with food. A lot of meds require you to take them with a certain amount of calories, like 300 or some ridiculous number.
This could be a sign of something more serious and the sensible thing would be to discuss this with your prescriber.
I was sick on abilify so I had a meds change.

Ohhh gotcha, I’ll tell my prescriber, I just hope this doesn’t continue or be worsened.

I’ve never tried that drug before. When I tried Latuda I used to throw up about half an hour after taking it. It was useless because I’d throw the pill up. I tried taking it with food and without and no difference. Eventually my pdoc took me off it.
Ugh, that sounds horrible.
The past 2 days I didn’t eat with my pill and felt fine
but this time around either I had too much beforehand and mixed with aspirin, might’ve triggered something.

For me I like to lessen the dosage and try to hang in there if possible. Sometimes the negatives go away. If not I would call my doctor and have him call something else in, I see no need for an appointment when this.happens just takes to long to try different meds if you go in every time.
1.5 mg is the lowest of this med available, but if this persists or worsens, I’ll call my doctor about it.
