Anyone get spontaneous dread/anxiety for no reason?

I sometimes just get really scared for a couple of hours. I need to be careful what I watch on tv as this can make it worse

Could just be spikes of depression.

I used to get it with nicotine, sometimes with too much or too little sleep.

I get that feeling when I’m alone sometimes, I really prefer to have someone else around.

Do you play video games or read?

I try to read. My video games skills suck so I have my PlayStation to my nephews. Will phone my mum in a bit for a catch up - that always makes me feel better

Doesnt even matter.

Just try. Itll train your brain too.

Sometimes boredom causes anxiety, especially in cases with mental illnesses.

My biggest issues atm is not psychosis, but fear and anxiety in all forms. I regularly have such moments. I make myself comfortable and wait till it passes. Music helps. People too, the right ones. I personally respond strongly to diet (avoiding coffee, sugar, eating healthy) and a calm environment.

I get adrenaline dumps pretty much every night (due to hyperadrenergic POTS). Makes my already bad PTSD worse most nights. Though now I kind of am used to it so it’s not as bad as it used to be.
