I’m not talking about abusing meds prescribed to you by your doctor. But has anyone gotten screwed up mentally by a certain med or meds given to them and taking it as directed? For example I was prescribed Amantadine for my tardive dyskinesia and took it normally for a few days until one night people said I was talking really fast and everything seemed slow to me. It also made me feel pretty good actually and for some reason I had the urges to do something productive like clean the house. It also sort of made me able to read and take in information faster. I have never drank or done any drugs in my life. Or have you had any other sort of feeling like being totally zoned out and sedated from your meds?
I was prescribed adderall and many different forms of it and all they did was ■■■■ me up super bad. i went to school just shaking and moving constantly, and couldn’t sit still for the life of me. I got weird stares but I couldn’t get in any trouble for it, it was my prescription
Lyrica made me feel high as ■■■■. I was seriously tripping after taking it. I only took it one time because I was still working at the time and no way that was going to work out.
In the start of taking it, Zyprexa made me feel high but mellow.
When I first started taking Seroquel, I had some pretty intense nightime visual Hallucinations - saw Halogram type images floating around my room at night - Angels, people, etc… they were ghost like - glowing white.
Abilify made me feel zoned out and out of it, at all kinds of doses.
