Two Antipsychotics made me feel like I was high on “drugs”.
Seroquel and Zyprexa.
Especially in the beginning of taking them.
Seroquel made me Hallucinate ghost like images in my room, and Zyprexa made me feel like I was stoned on Weed.
Anyone else get that High feeling on their meds?
Lyrica made me feel high as ■■■■.
I want lyrica what does it do
It’s a pain med. It made me feel like I was tripping balls. It was insane. A lot of visual disturbances and my head felt like it was a balloon floating away.
Geodon did that to me in 2014 for a long time like 10 months.
But now not anymore.
Oxazepam… But then that really was a high. Other than that, I’ve only ever felt high from illegally obtained drugs. Most of the meds I’ve taken had basically no effect on me.
Wellbutrin and Risperdal did it for me at the beginning.
Geodon. Dear lord when I first went up doses to 40 mg twice a day when I first took that 40 mg pill I’ve never taken illicit drugs before but that’s what I would imagine being high feels like. My pupils were HUGE and dilating, and I was vividly hallucinating lights and static over everything and things swirling around. I just felt sooo trippy all I could do was lie on my bed for hours until the feeling went away. I went nuts starting that med, made me manic like I’d never been before. That med had crazy effects on me, and quitting it was very difficult because the withdrawal effects were so strong. I really wish I had known exactly what it was doing to my brain. What I wouldn’t give for the motivation and concentration I had on that med back.
Lexapro and high mg if vistaril made me feel high.
I had a doctor put me on Lyrica for some leg issue I was having,
It was terrible!
No one likes getting high more than I do,
But I just couldn’t wait for the effects to wear off,
It made me feel, dumb?
Like everything was slowed down and I still couldn’t keep up.
It was the worst.
Hated it.
Strange… zyprexa makes me depressed as hell. It killed all my emotions. No high at all on it. I was feeling kinda heavy on it, with killed will, so i didnt have the desire for anything on. It was literally blocking my thinking too… @Wave, why does this zyprexa works like this on me, man? I know a lot of people who feel high on this while i wanted to die on this even though that i was taking it for two years…
Geodon when I was prescribed the highest dose.
@Anna1 Are you sure it’s not the Depakote that’s making you feel no emotions?
Depakote makes me feel this way.
I feel flat as Hell.
Try memantine. That’s what I’m going to do bc of the invega.
I am sure its the zyprexa yes…
Everybody’s different.
Different brains, different bodies.
It’s why some drugs are like magic to some and ■■■■ to others.
Just keep trying.
Other than valium, (and alcohol) nothing really gives me a buzz. Including marijuana. And that’s just as well. I have not tried cocaine, heroin, meth, etc. I don’t need any additional problems.
dextromethorphan at high doses usually produces an enjoyable high with euphoria and dissociation. you feel connected to the world, like everything “works”.
Zyprexa can make some people feel more depressed.
Everyone reacts differently to these meds.
Xanax kind of made me feel like it and maybe seroquel.
The ritalin high. Of all the possible drugs, this simple little pill is the only thing that ever made life somewhat worth living.
