I kept my little christmas tree up at my office desk for the whole year since last christmas. It drove my boss nuts :rofl: i like the sparkly lights :grin:

I don’t like Christmas. Its just a huge exercise of commercialism.
I buy presents for my mum and a few other people I get small gifts for but I try not to spend much.

Please knock it off with the religion.

Christmas has roots in many cultures and religions. No one owns it, so please don’t try to make it something it isn’t.

oh I adore Christmas…I keep my Christmas tree lit all year and now it really means something more than just to cheer me up…I used to string Christmas lights around the perimeter of the ceilings in my house before getting ill…Christmas means hope to me so I rejoice in it…i"m sorry so many hate Christmas…

I don’t hate Christmas it’s just that besides going to my brothers house every Christmas Eve, I really don’t celebrate it too much.

We used to put up a tree for the Holidays but last year we skipped it.

This year we bought a small artificial tree but I don’t know if I’ll put it up, there really isn’t much room for it in our cluttered house.

I may return it

Ha, ha @taiga - what a nerdy kid, i would love to read that story and @jukebox - if i shall be honest i don’t “hate” christmas, i just don’t understand it but respect that others like it, if christmas makes people, especially kids, happy you should be a really evil uncle scrooge to hate a thing that makes other people happy and i’m not such a person.

We used to live in a much bigger house. This rental has a fraction of the living room space we’re used to, but we have the old tree up. It’s large so we’re feeling cramped. I really think we need a smaller tree next year.

People choose to set their own platform and Xmas is very religious. Your out of line and you’ve been warned about carrying on with it.

If I had been you, I would have made sure that my own kid got really nice things that he or she really wanted for Christmas. But, that’s just me.
