Whether LAN local area network or TCP/IP remote connections… I am looking to first of all aquire multiplayer games and then play them with some decent folk either over remote internet connection or local area network… I have a version of Dosbox that I am currently playing an old first person shooter game on called quake its fun and I used to own a copy back awhile ago. I had supposed that back a little while ago was the best time that gaming on the pc ever had I used to stay up all night and play Doom 1 and 2 over a dial up modem and I had a lot of fun.
Remember the free AOL disks they used to give out. Go eat dinner come back and it would finally be loaded.
I used to fight fight fight with my parents on letting me use AOL. They never let me. Even though I had like a billion minutes worth of free AOL disks I was given in the mail. They never let me
AIM wasn’t bad though
I could setup an ftp server with decent folk and transfer files with them and the other person would need an ftp client I know that’s not related…
I like gaming too.
Nintendo 3ds and ps2 are the systems i play on.
Also Wii.
I used to play WC3 and SC2 a lot but have since moved on to other games like Europa Universalis 4 that don’t really have the same multiplayer feel to it. What if I don’t want to play like 5 hours in a game. Same thing with Civ 5 and Stellaris.
there is a way on PC if you have one to play old games system games such as Nintendo Entertainment system and super Nintendo sega genesis do search for emulators and roms if interested. Rom stands for read only memory the game cartridges
That’s not interesting !
Yea it is ya it,is!
Yes!! I love pc games. I just can’t play any right now because my computer shat out on me so I gotta get a new one
wc3 tft much like chess is a classic game. awesome matchmaking
Halo 5 Forge is free on windows 10 if you got it… No campaign or matchmaking… but forge mode and custom games. It’s pretty sweet. The only FPS I really enjoy.
I’d be down to play some of that. Otherwise my gaming has more or less just been on the 360 these days.
Here’s a link:
The engine is slick but a bunch of graphical effects are missing or look like ■■■■ compared to past halo titles… making the game have sort of a hollow feel. That said the movement system and control schemes are new and improved and can do a lot of cool stuff. Sprinting into a slide and coming out of it with a melee… or the sprint boost melee for an instant kill… unlimited sprinting. Some neato stuff with zooming… Wall edge climbing… and built in booster packs… as well as this flying downward thrust thing… ground pound your enemies if you get the drop on them. It’s pretty sweet… no jet pack though.
Forge mode lets you craft your own levels… whether you want to make on from scratch or recreate an old favorite. Forge’s UI is crazy unintuitive at first, but it’s got everything in there all the weapons and vehicles from the past and a couple new ones which are pretty sweet.
I’d love to get a small group of friends to play custom games with… it all works through the Microsoft Live account much like xbox live… so you have a friends list and can see who is logged in and message/invite them. Supports voice chat I’m sure.
Beyond that I’ll be playing Halo: Reach on the 360… Don’t care for other FPS… they really aren’t the same at all… it’s like flinging turds at each other versus the high precision weaponry and movement of halo… so fluid once you get the hang of it…
