I’m not talking about not eating for days at a time. I mean intermittent fasting. For example one I’m planning to do … Start with a breakfast at 10am and have my final meal at 6. No snackng or drinking anything other than water after 6. you can eat anything before that.
I did it for a little while and lost a lot of weight, but I found it hard to maintain and once I stopped intermittent fasting I gained all the weight back.
There are supposedly a lot of benefits to it, but it’s so hard to do it for long periods of time.
I did it. lost 20 pounds. got constipated. slowed down my metabolism. I did a 4 hour feeding window, and still tried to keep my calories below 1500. put the weight back on when I went back to eating regularly.
I really wanted to try this.
But its too hard for me
Cos I eat four meals per day now and that does seem to work however. I mean the last one is just chopped fruit with sweet cinnamon
Yes I’m very into keto and intermittent fasting. It’s good for loosing weight. Just know if you’re not feeling well, it’s ok to break your fast. That’s your right. Listen to your body.
I waited five minutes between eating turkey and then slamming a piece of pie today. Can I count that?

I dont think fasting is good for anyone on APs …
I’ve heard some good things about it. There was a doco on tv but I missed the end of it where they were comparing intermittent fasting to other diet approaches. I think it was looking favourable.
Well the thing is your allowing yourself full meals just avoiding snacking and then you sleep a lot of those hours through it anyway.
LS! Hi! Yes I do intermittent fasting since January 2018. I fast every Thursday and Sunday. My weight went from 160 kilo to 135 kilo. I just have tea, coffee and a lot of dietary supplements on Thursdays and Sundays. I also do strength training for which I need a lot of protein. I exercise daily for one and a half year by now.
