I used to play a drum set, hand drums, pennywhistle, stick dulcimer, and guitar, but after the stroke all I can manage is the hand drums.

i used to play the cello in school (though my first choice was upright bass…denied). i still play the piano once a week or so. it’s quite soothing to me.

I have a couple Midi keyboards and mix stuff using Reaper.fm … It’s a lot of fun. My songs are mostly instrumental and not too sophisticated but I am pretty good at picking out synths that go well together. I have a friend from college who lives out of state and we work on projects over the Internet using email, Dropbox and Btsync.
