I want to write a pilot for a TV series about schizophrenic dude tripping out in his 20s. I’m sure a lot of people on here could help by describing some of their trips if you’re interested. Just post here

This could be great if it were done right. Has to be done right. I would follow two or three people, but make absolutely sure at least one of the participants is very recovered with almost no semblance of symptomatic behavior left. This is because the idea that recovery is possible needs some highlighting.
If it’s just a show about a bunch of people losing their minds and wrecking their lives then, well, that’s kind of just exploitive television and I wouldn’t be in favor of it. Could even add to the stigma.
So yeah it really depends on how it is handled.
