I like them a lot. I have many of their albums. Wish you were here is a great song.

I like their song “Brain Damage.” It’s about Syd Barrett’s struggle with schizophrenia.

Atom Heart Mother is my favorite track by Pink Floyd…free four is a great single and my wife used to dance to it…momentary lapse of reason is a great album too.

He was never formally diagnosed with schizophrenia.
I love love love them.
I’ve heard quiet a few songs of theirs but not heaps of all their songs .
Based on the symptoms I’ve read he is definitely schizophrenic, but yes, he was never officially diagnosed.

Doesn’t have to be schizophrenia; could be drug induced psychosis.
That’s probably what caused me to get schizophrenia. I smoked too much weed in high school.

I liked Syd Barratt better & i just wish he stayed with the band, apparently he’d go to a gig and just use his zippo and do psychedelic slide guitar. i think one of the reasons he was asked to leave was bc he was just too out there, it was too random. all that acid had taken its toll.
