I was due to have my nurse visit me on Monday at my house.
However on Saturday night I came down with a bad sickness bug. Terrible bowel trouble.
Anyway I figured it might be norovirus (the diarrhoea and vomiting bug). I didn’t want my nurse to catch it so I decided to cancel our appointment.
I left a message on the nurses office answer machine on Sunday. I also phoned up the weekend crisis team and asked them to pass the message on.
Thing is I haven’t heard from my nurse since. Have left 2 messages for her to phone me back but no reply.
I am worried I am being ghosted or have been kicked off the nurses list.
I am really worried
They’re probably just busy.

Yeah don’t worry @anon94176359 , she’s probably busy.
Phoned the nurses office and spoke to someone else. She says I won’t have been released off the list and that everything is just grand.
But I think they are lying to me.
Rest assured they’re telling you the truth.

If its any consolation - i can leave a message sometimes, and they wont get back to me till after a few days, if they deem it as non-urgent. Alot of the mental health clinics are short staffed these days.
Im sure your nurse is fine with you.
