The anxiety and depression were probably symptoms of the thing that caused psychosis, like schizophrenia, not the other way around.

I started having panic attacks every week before I started getting help. I had bad depression too. My emotional state was changing every day, it seemed.
right before my paranoia started increasing i had gone thru a close family member dying and a really rocky relationship so i was super stressed and was having severe panic attacks, and as the panic attacks subsided my paranoia just went rolling down the hill like a snowball
@ayrin7, if you’re someone who already suffers from psychosis, anxiety and depression can follow it. But anxiety and depression are not symptoms of psychosis. Please work with your doctors rather than asking strangers on the Internet to diagnose you.
