Do they work for you?
What are the positives and negative’s for the effects of taking them?
Thinking about asking for a prn from my doc thanks.

I take klonopin,
As a preventative and a PRN.
It works well, but you get dependent real fast.
I take a small dose of Klonopin as a PRN
I used to take Clonazepam (is that Klonopin?).
Its a benzo and like all benzos it’s for short term use only as it stops working and you get addicted to it.
I take supplements now to cope with anxiety from meds instead.
I take klonopin everyday as prescribed that’s what I take for anxiety it’s alright I don’t have any side effects and unlike what some people tend to believe it doesn’t get me high at all if I use as prescribed there’s a TON of pill shaming with benzos and tbh it’s ■■■■■■■■ I was more unable to function on prozac it made me manic as hell and as far as I’m concerned it was more dangerous for me everybody is different tho
I take1 mg alprazolom 4X daily PRN /12 years.
Works really well keeping my anxiety down and able get quick relief from panic attacks.
I have been on other slower longer lasting benzodiazepines but this works best for me.
BIG RULE- Do not abuse. Them. Do not take them to get high. Your first dose may make you feel good. Do not chase that feeling. It’s not what the med is for. Also if you plan on long term. Do not ever lose your meds cause Docs will not refill early due to drug classification. Withdrawals are very bad.
Yes that’s Klonopin @everhopeful
I take 1.5mg of clonazepam (klonopin) every night for insomnia. Been on it for about 8 months now. No doubt I am dependent on it now but I don’t care, I need to sleep.
The FDA has indicated clonazepam for seizures and panic disorder but it is used “off label” for insomnia because it induces sleep as a side effect.
So for me things are backwards. I am using the drug for the side effect, but in turn I feel relaxed all the time because that is the main point of the med.
Yeah benzo withdrawal can cause seizures coma and death it’s very serious and life threatening to abuse benzos
I take klonipin, and melatonin. They work, and it makes a difference. I don’t take them all the time. I take them maybe 3 times a week.
I take diazepam (Valium) as a PRN. It takes away the physical pain of my anxiety. I take Pristiq, technically an AD, as a preventative. It works for anxiety on me, but not for depression. I also take Xanax as an insomnia PRN, which most of the time knocks me out (occasionally it doesn’t), but it causes me worse depression the next day.
They’re too addicting and I stopped noticing any positive effects after awhile
My opinion is if you don’t absolutely need to don’t get on it because they are hard to get off of. I take 2 mg Valium twice a day, which is a low dose and I can’t get off. I need it for anxiety. I had a doctor once say no one should be on it for extended periods of time, it’s bad for you.
I take paxil. It doesn’t work.
Was a bit dependant on Clonazepam. Lorezepam was easier to get off in the hospital.
Clonzepam worked longer than Lorezepam though.
I used to take Clonazepam but they stopped it a few years ago so I could do ECT, then afterwards they never restarted it. Now my current clinic doesn’t prescribe ANY anxiolytic meds, even if you did fine on them before.
I take oxazepam as a prn. I’m very sensible with it.
Xanax all the way babe
i take lorazepam when i feel bad. yesterday i had such an anxiety attack and it got better a bit after taking some lorazepam.
