Being in the forest is definitely calming… it’s just kind of hard for me to get to a forest.
The mind is linked with the breath. Try to keep breathing even and steady. Google pranayama, it is a breathing meditation.
Go to place you love in nature where are no people to calm down and meditate connect to nature . Nature is your ally

Honestly. Look into your diet and exercise. Both can really help with anxiety.
I tried the medical model for a long time and it failed me. Yeah benzos work but are short acting and then you get the issues of dependance and addiction. It’s not the best but maybe look for different strategies.
Exercise is great and diet can do good things too.
Breathe from your stomach! It helps and try and stay in the moment
I like to lie down and listen to calm music when I’m anxious. I would also avoid too much coffee.
Mine is due to imbalance and have to take medicine for it.
