i take fluphenazine and have no problems.good luck.
Do not take risperdal it makes it hard to finish. Unless your bedding a girl it might be useful.
Iāve been on Invega Sustenna shots for about 3 years now. Spending most of my time between 75 and 150mg.
(For those that donāt know Invega (Paliperidone) is similar in structure to (Risperidone). Invega is the more evolved version.
There was a period of time I was on 50mg and my sexual function began to partially restore.
Unfortunately my mental health symptoms come back and since then Iāve been on 150mg for the past 8-10 months. Now I have very little sexual function.
Itās bugged me that much Iāve spent the past few days making this video on my experiences with Lexapro and Invega combined and the resulting sexual side effects in a bid to gain some popularity on the subject on youtube and to get peoples ideas on the topic. In my video I explain my sexual side effects, how psychiatry medicines can alter our hormone levels, alternative medications and herbs that could help but havenāt had any testing.
Below is the YouTube link?
If you have any comments or questions regarding the video please let me know. I am looking forward to making a part 2 and going into detail with peoples experiences when using medications like Viagra to restore sexual function and some other ideas on getting our sexual health back on track and still keep mental health symptoms at bay.
There is some new knowledge for me to include in the next video. For example I need to mention the herb is pronounced Maa-Ca not mac-aa and when I seen my psychiatrist today I think he told me Abilify should be combined with Invega to cancel out the sexual side effects. He explained it the complicated way and my concentration isnāt to good I much prefer when I can listen or read what is being said hundreds of times until I finally get it.
some of the difficulties Iām having arenāt part of my antipsychotics.
My Seroquel got cut back down and my Latuda got pushed up. So Iām doing better with physical mechanics and even having the urge in the first placeā¦
But itās the anxiety, the tactile and some auditory hallucinations āduringā that makes it hard to stay in the moment. My girlfriend is very patent and understanding, weāre working on over coming it.
Iām on Abilify and things are going good as far as the urge is concerned, but I have a low tolerance for pain and tactile sensitivities that donāt really help me in that area. Itās gotten so bad, that we stopped "it"altogether for a while, then I made my husband talk about it and tell me what was not going well⦠I cried a full night through when he told me how it was for him to have me with all my sensitivity and anxiety, but afterwards we both changed our attitudes and it gets better and better.
