just checking in…got Mick Jagger solo stuff going on, next, Keith Richards solo stuff…I am a huge fan of the rolling stones, these albums I listen to by them on solo work is cherry picked…gotta know what to listen to.
You Tube is very happy to offer a MIX just for me of what they want me to listen to.
I’m up at 10 PM, i.e.: 22:00, drinking a red bull lol
@cdwithdcs oh my heart doesn’t like those red bulls…haha…I get you @Jayster I listen to playlists on spotify that hit the spot too…
@shutterbug quite impressive…
Pay for your music. It costs you more but supports artists. Spotify really doesn’t reward anyone but high rotation artists…nothing new in the world but it’s important to pay for music. Bandcamp has a day a month or so where the artist gets all the money…do that instead.
I’m poor…I also shop at walmart because of cheaper prices…my brother argued the same thing that lower artists don’t get paid…they don’t have to share it on spotify if they don’t get paid…not my fault…haha
Cheap argument. Don’t blame you but I can afford to pay for a $1 song for sure. I listen totally to my digitized list on apple music. I know they want to get rid of that but I appreciate the process. I support artists. Each to their own.
I have had friends in three different small bands verify that for me. I know one pulled their music from the service. At least they get a slice of the ad revenue on Youtube.
Covid did some bad things to the music economy to small bands/performance artists.
I still make a point of buying music. Out here it costs me like $2.50 or so for a track but I know the artist is getting their cut.
You can listen to spotify and not pay money as you get ads. It’s not good for artists and if you like music support the artists.
