Another health problem

Well I went and saw my GP last month and my blood pressure was high. I am 52.

She gave me a blood pressure monitor to take home and wanted me to take my pressure 3 times a week. It’s been high most times I have taken it.

I have to follow up soon and give her the results. She said I might have to take something for it.

I am on enough meds.

Is there anything else I can do?

She gave me Chantix too to stop smoking but I haven’t started it yet. I am a little scared and don’t have the desire to quit yet. I think you have to want to quit.

Eat fish, chicken not fried, and veggies. Walk some as often as you can and don’t sit down too long.

zombie. Please check the date of the threads in the top right corner. If it’s after a month or so it’s old. If it’s 2 months or older it’s something we look at. 3 months it’s a zombie.
