Until recently. I have no idea why it’s so high?!?!?!
I have high blood pressure, I take two meds for it and it’s still high.
It rarely falls below 140.
140 bp is my average.
Worrying and being stressed out can make it worse. Getting older can contribute to it. Did they say anything to you about a 2000mg per day of sodium diet? Lowering your sodium intake can help if you are interested in that. I know its difficult.
Do you do a low sodium diet wave? They wanted me to but its just too difficult.
No I don’t @anon12381882.
I put salt on everything!
what kind of blood pressure monitor do you use, i eat alot of sodium and when i used a wrist blood pressure monitor my numbers were super high but i found out i was using it improperly had my hand closed and arm too low, i did it the right way and now it always reads at a healthy number
I am comparing the reading of my manual BP reader to my forearm one. They’re the same. I taught my husband how to take BP readings with a manual BP reader.
probably just high than, hopefully it goes down, you should try eating low sodium for a while see if it goes down, could be a med or any mental or physical change recently causing it to go up
I’m guessing it’s Zyprexa, and luckily I’m weaning off of it
My dr wants to see BP readings every day before he adds any meds . Do you have a machine?
Yes and a manual BP cuff and stethoscope
Have you been sleeping properly? Missing nights can cause that
Actually I have. And usually I don’t sleep well. But for the past month or so I’ve gotten good sleep
