Well it was about a month ago. I just found out my friend from college died of heroin OD. This girl I knew died in February of heroin OD. I can’t say I’m surprised anymore when someone I know who does heroin dies from OD’ing…
That’s sad, heroin is a terrible drug. I had a friend who was an on-again-off-again heroin user; I haven’t heard from her in months, don’t even know if she’s still alive, because she pretty much cut me out of her life after she relapsed.
My 2nd cousin died from OD’ing on heroin. The stuff sucks the life right out of the user.
Jeez, you think it should be illegal to use.

seems like everyday some kids die from the new heroin… dam designer drugs… its a pharmaceutical company who is writing these dam recipes…this new heroin is brought to you by the creators of bathsalts, molly and various mixtures of spice… along with a bunch of meds your doc can write you a script for… one day they will be caught I hope its sooner than later though…
That is very sad. I am sorry to hear it. My Mom was a heroin addict. She left us kids to go use and I was consequently raised until I was 10 by an abusive stepmother.
Heroin is the devil. My mom quit using at 34 but died at 46 because her body had been so trashed.
Sorry to hear about your friend, OP. It’s always a shame to see someone’s life end because of something like this.
Sorry @Csummers. My cousin is a heroin addict as well. He keeps relapsing but he’s alive. I just hope he’s not next

Oh man another friend died of heroin od 6 days ago. Just found out. Can’t make this ■■■■ up.

The girl who died in February was very sad cuz she had two years. I knew her real well and saw her a month before she died
The guy who died a month ago put all his effort into peer pressuring me into getting addicted to heroin when he already knew I had sz. He wanted to drag me down with him. I was still friends with him but I wasn’t as sad about that
The kid who died a week ago was pretty sad. Met him in iop from December to February. He was a good guy and very young. He was adamant he was DONE with heroin. But I guess he relapsed and died. Honestly none of these surprise me that much.
i keep thinking about heroin because i saw that people were saying this artist i found out about recently and like is a heroin user and it sucks that ur friend died from it i wish more people would get help before its too late
The heroin addicts dilemma----you get help, and then when you relapse is when you’re most vulnerable to overdose.
If you had the money and it didn’t destroy your life and you could just keep doing it and doing it, you’d be much less likely to OD. it’s the people who get help, and then relapse who are most at risk. I’ve now had 7 people die heroin od in my life as far as I know of in the past 2 years… heroin has no advantages. The people who say “drugs make you more creative…”. I don’t think depressants do anything but shut your mind off. All the creative heroin addicts are also probably also smoking weed, doing cocaine or lsd. Not that I’m advocating those drugs either by any means. But they are more apt to spark creativity than opiates…
