Honestly, the dogs are ok on our street but they jump on the elderly lady across the street, the little puppy does but he can reach to your belly…I d k…if they get picked up they will probably find happier homes, but right now…they are well fed, and sleep in the neighbors house at night…am I being selfish?
There’s no local animal control you can call? The animal control in our town is wonderfully aggressive.
someone called animal control, not me…we don’t mind feeding them and it’s a peaceful street for the dogs…they are taken in when it’s cold by the neighbors…
There is zero tolerance for dogs running loose here. Animal control gets them right away. Animal attacks are super rare in my town. More so in the city next to me where enforcement is spotty.
Animal control actually came when your neighbor called them, my whole block calls them and they still don’t come.

it’s pretty lax here…one rottweiler has been loose his whole life and roams the whole block…he’s old now but I still hear him barking at something in the middle of the night when I go outside…it’s not a bad life as long as the animals are kind.
