Yeah, he was supposed to be a big deal when he came on the music scene in the eighties. He was compared favorably with James Brown and a few other famous singers. I remember him but I can only remember him having just one hit song. His song got a lot of air play on VH-1 but I don’t remember hearing him ever do anything else.
