Amazon prime

All of a sudden I got emailed ansd notified of a prime amazon account when I didn’t sign up for it at all.

It just notified me that it had happened. I hadn’t even logged into amazon today.

I went in to cancel it and then changed my password.

I got the refund.

An automatic sign up for prime glitch?

Is there a way to live chat with amazon about it?

Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Is it possible you accidentally clicked the wrong thing when checking out the last time.

Checking out is now a mine field in trying to avoid accidental prime sign up!

I cancelled a weekly membership which cost 99p a couple of days ago.

It doesn’t seem to have registered with amazon then and then auto renewed.

That must have been what happened then!

The cheek of it!

I thought i had been hacked for a moment then. Thanks @everhopeful

I don’t buy enough to get the benefits of it really and lose interest in boxsets more often than not so not worth it to me.

I have Amazon prime for kindle and movies mainly. I get half off. The fast shipping is nice. It’s still a luxury I think…

A recent meme sums ups my feelings too:

You are eligible for a discounted rate if you have certain government programs such as SNAP, Medicaid or other programs.

If you qualify you will pay $6.99 a month.

I love Prime. The unlimited free photo storage alone is worth it for me.

http://photos.amazon.com and log in with your Prime account.

You can upload unlimited photos, but only 5 GB of video. They will try and upsell you on that.
