They have the most god awful customer service when something is screwed up and you need to talk to a person about it. To get a response I guess I’m going to have to dispute the charge with my credit card company to get a response from them.
I canceled my Prime membership and am not buying anything else from them. I had a problem like this several years ago, and I’m sorry now that I tried with them again. Never again. I’m done with Amazon.
When I canceled my membership it even ask why so I could tell them about the lousy service. Amazon could care less what their customers think about them.
It looks like now if I can’t can’t get it from Walmart or Target, I’m just not going to get it. The only company I can think of that’s worse than Amazon is Xfinity Comcast cable company. At least there are competitors with Amazon you can do business with.
I didn’t mean it like that. I was just wondering what went wrong for you. It seems strange to me because of my experiences. I believe you that you got bad service thouh
Really? I’ve found their customer service to be superb. They have even refunded me on things they didn’t need to and they make things right so fast your head spins.
Amazon is a bit of a rip off but it’s the best shipping service. Every other company is fragmented and takes forever to ship. Amazon is reliable but expensive I find. Idk about customer service but I assume its bad from what your saying and the fact it’s a massive company.
They sent most of my order with Amazon shipping. One book they sent in a separate box by UPS. When I got the first box I went out and wasn’t home when UPS came. UPS took it to a UPS Store for me to pickup, but this particular UPS Store isn’t on a bus route so I can’t get there. UPS refuses to deliver it to my apartment again. I found the book on Walmart webpage and I’m going to order from them. They ship FedEx.
Yea Amazon is great I love it tbh…it’s just sometimes sorting through the prices its like…shhhhheeehhshh… Idk man haha seems a couple bucks to high but I got no choice. Overall I don’t mind spending a couple bucks at Amazon. I have had problems with their customer service before tho…I got automatically charged $15 for audible when I added a new credit card to my account and amazon said “oh that’s not our company” basically.
With the given choices, I prefer they ship
By the post office. The post office provides the best service where I live. UPS is really bad and FedEx isn’t the best either. At least FedEx will make a second delivery attempt.
By the way I have to use a cane to walk with the problems I have with my left leg. I just fell in the street trying to cross it last week and was nearly run over. I don’t have a car and having to ride the bus to get something is a big deal for me.
@anon54988740, you don’t have to justify why you use online shopping. You received a very rude response to your thread, and I noticed the person who left that comment is banned. You shouldn’t receive judgement for using Amazon, sometimes our circumstances can lead to us benefiting from conveniences of online shopping. Even if my personal circumstances don’t require me to use online shopping, I still do it because getting something two days later that I can’t find locally rawks.
I’m sorry you fell in the street, that is very scary.
As for the topic of the thread, I have had mixed experiences with Amazon. There are certain things I won’t order from them due to the possibility of receiving a counterfeit, such as pocket knives. Amazon’s two day shipping policy was a game changer, and when I need something quick it’s generally at my door. Their customer service has come through pretty clutch for me a few times.
