Am I being talked about all over the tv in the United States?

I had the same delusion about God and Satan.
And I also had Truman show delusion. I understand you

I used to believe that aliens control me and see through my eyes

Yea what I’m thinking is that my dad’s girlfriend stuck a camera in my head. They can see me through the camera.

I thought I was related to celebrities and that we’d meet up soon and live the rich life together. I know better now and about how implausible that was. I also suspected my food was being poisoned, which it wasn’t.

It’s weird the things we believe when sz is acting up. If you want to fast-track your recovery I recommend getting a psychiatrist and being honest with him/her so they can try to find meds that will work for you, make it feel more like it was before you got your symptoms.

Just remember you can get past this and be okay. Lots of people with sz have been there and gotten through it to something that’s better… not perfect by any means, but better.

For me it was reference delusions. Like the jokes people would make and the anecdotes I would interpret as being about me.

Maybe it’s thought broadcasting

I also get reference delusions in real life, twisting their comments into being relevant to my thoughts or circumstances.

I am, it all just feel so real. Then I try to think logic like how can a camera be in my head and actually be pointing directly at me to see my face and read my thoughts. Thats when i think this has to be a delusion. Then i watch tv and hear them talking about me or the people in my house talking about me telling me my thoughts. And then that’s when I go back to thinking this has to be real. And when I go out in public and hear ppl talking about me, I actually look in their mouths to see if they really saying what I think they are saying. And they are. This is too tough.

you’ll never live comfortable until you get some kind of help

and likely that means getting on meds, since no cop is going to take you seriously

again, it’s a signal, if your’e getting it out in public, it’s knee jerk nothingness

If you’re worried about your privacy, maybe don’t use your real name as your username?

I had this paranoid delusion (among others) during my 1st major psychotic break too.

Turns out they actually were NOT camera’s in the air vents of my house, I just kinda went away from reality for awhile. Also the more I looked at people thinking they were plotted against me - then the more I actually freaked out people and they reacted to my crazy.

This is a pretty common one, lots of us here have had it. Not sure if that make you feel better, but it is my intention. Try to do something that calms you or makes you feel safe. You are safe, it will pass -

It’s just thought broadcasting. I get it too. Promise there’s no chip in your head, but something creepy and metaphysical is going on, it feels like.

Medication can treat it, though. I’ve heard good things about Abilify stopping it, also Invega and Haldol.

Delusions of grandeur. You got a superego. Centre of the universe and such.

I have had similar delusions that I believed and some believe are real.

Hope you will feel better soon.
Olanzapine worked really well for me apart from the weight gain.
How long have you been taking it?
Sometimes Medication works different for different people .

Talk to your psychiatrist maybe I did not tell my psychiatrists everything in the past .
So I understand some people feel they do not want to or that they are “in on it”…etc

None of us are “important” enough to be talked about on tv. It’s in your head.

My rule is not paying attention to these thoughts. Being dismissive of yourself is not a good thing according to my rainbow and unicorns ex-therapist, but I find it a useful way to cope with delusions. Also being aware of your condition and what it does to you gives you insight enough to produce the evidence that what you’re thinking probably isn’t correct.

I’ve been taking it for over a year. It’s not working.
