Always stuck - who are you?

It’s the constant fear

Hey, @Om_Sadasiva . I know you have been stuck in these beliefs for a long time…are you looking for help with them or trying to promote them here?

Yea I have constant residual fear about a delusion I had since 2016.

The thing is that it can’t be unproven.

That’s why it’s still there, sort of.

I try to dismiss it, thou.

I’m trying to.find coping skills.
But nothing helps

I just know that I have tried multiple times with logic and got nowhere…give me a minute to think…I dont know whether I should even try to talk you out of them.

Maybe coping skills is the way to go.

Have you tried CBT? It made a world of difference for me. I was able to stop taking the delusions and hallucinations seriously thanks to it.

CBT is a good idea. Also, What I’ve found that helps me sometimes when I’m borderline is questioning the logic of a delusion and seeing if there is a different mundane explanation for it. This is less effective if you are deep inside a belief though. Probably more effective when you are borderline in your beliefs.

I haven’t tried cognitive
because i called a therapist
who specializes in it
and when i told her I’m sz,
she said cognitive doesn’t
help people with psychosis

THere is no easy answer I think when you are deep inside. Medication first, then maybe try as many methods as you can get your hands on… everyone is different.

She also said that there are no
serious articles or studied
which prove any correlation
between sz and cognitive.

I dont know what you mean by that. what do you mean?

Excuse me, ladies and gentlemen,
but when you feel that all are actors,
for example, or that there are cameras
constantly, how will i make these things go away?

No good impact of therapy to sz

Like I said…I dont think these kind of techiques will help much when you are deep in psychosis…but I KNOW from personal experience that questioning beliefs and using techniques when you are at a certain point in recovery that using techniques and questioning your beliefs can help you.

I’ll be honest with you OM…I dont think you are there yet…which is why I responded in my first post so skeptically.

It is very difficult to talk someone out of psychosis who is deep inside their beliefs.

Maybe its best to just focus on coping with your beliefs, …maybe try not to care if people are watching you…

@Bowens unlist it please.
I don’t want to look at it.
I’m still vulnerable

@Om_Sadasiva

You have no proof of this.

Do you have a picture of one hidden camera?

Would I be such a jackass if I were a robot?

Why would people choose to watch you?

And where would the money come from to run such an operation?

It would be impossible to keep seamless.

My sister works in film and TV,

It’s a shitshow.

Sorry-

I didn’t see you wanted it closed.
