Always be careful when trying new supplements

Several times I have tried something that is supposed to be good for something, like heart or stomach health, but then the opposite happens, it actually makes things worse.

Not to say that this has happened often, but you never know. Be critical of anything new, be it supplements, or medications.

What does ā€œbeing carefulā€ actually mean?

Either you take it or you donā€™tā€¦

Wellā€¦if you are not concious about linking negative health symptoms to potentially be a result of something you take, that could end very bad.

No, nothing for sz/brainhealth anyways. I do take NAC+(niacinamide) though 500 - 1000mg daily. Iā€™m hoping it will reduce my chance of relapse as Iā€™m tapering the zyprexa. Been fine on 3.75mg for about 1 month now. Will make a drop to 3.1mg soon.

I would never have guessed

I try to minimize the amount of pills I take due to nitrosamines. I want to reduce my biological load reducing cancer risk.

I took a supplement to help lose weight without realizing it also worked as a blood thinner and I was already on a lot of those. Kind of a messy mistake and I needed a tranfusion after. Itā€™s a really good idea to ask a doctor or pharmacist first, especially about drug interactions.

Donā€™t be stupid like me.
