Alone or a group home?

Which is worse? 1515

I haven’t had any face to face conversations in over a year. I don’t know what I’d do living in a group home and waking up in the middle of the night. I have to get up.

I would prefer to live alone. However, if you think your life would improve in a group home, you can always try it.

I would get worse in a group home. I do much better with peace and quiet.

A group home sounds like a nightmare to me. I’ve lived alone since I moved out at 18.

Living alone you can get lonely but you don’t have to put up with people and living in a group home can be OK depends on who you live with

What @trelos said. I prefer to have more time by myself and it gives me peace of mind. Also, I think group homes have more of a restrictive schedule so you cannot have total freedom to do what you want.

I was sent to a government agency for meds after I lost insurance. I took one look at the place, which had units made out of concrete blocks, and there was a chain link fence with barbed wire at the top, and I figured out where I had been told to report to for ā€œhelp.ā€ I was not interested in living there at all.

I think getting ā€˜comfortable’ in a group setting is the worst thing that I could possibly do. I was told to do group therapy, which made me get worse.
