I would prefer to live alone. However, if you think your life would improve in a group home, you can always try it.
I would get worse in a group home. I do much better with peace and quiet.
A group home sounds like a nightmare to me. Iāve lived alone since I moved out at 18.

What @trelos said. I prefer to have more time by myself and it gives me peace of mind. Also, I think group homes have more of a restrictive schedule so you cannot have total freedom to do what you want.
I was sent to a government agency for meds after I lost insurance. I took one look at the place, which had units made out of concrete blocks, and there was a chain link fence with barbed wire at the top, and I figured out where I had been told to report to for āhelp.ā I was not interested in living there at all.
