AI Might Match Human Learning Capabilities by 2050, Says Breyer Capital CEO

I saw a piece on the F-35 fighter plane that said this plane has an ability to learn as it fights on the battlefield. This plane is stealthy, and it has enormous computing power. It is linked into every weapons platform on the battlefield. Some of our weapons in the military will be in the forefront of artificial intelligence during this century.

I’ll be too old or even if I live that long to be able to comprehend the technology in the year 2050.

That’s an interesting point @exhile

I mean like we “kids” always laugh at adults for being “not with the times” but there’s no doubt I will rebel against artificial intelligence when it is implemented greatly into our society!!! So maybe that’s one of the things kids in 35 years will say “YOURE TOO OLD TO UNDERSTAND ROBOTS”

So yeah that’s interesting to me…

From what I read, the brain is just 2.5 PB (peta bytes), so what you need is disk space as large as that to upload and download human brains.

I’m not worried, I’m unemployed now and I’ll be unemployed then. Maybe I can hire some robots for cheaper wages . Yippie
