I am barely searching google.
I am on microsoft home page - shows me streaming headlines and ads catered to me and shows me things i am interested in.
im on this site and youtube most of the day besides that.
I think the google days will be over. I google something maybe a few times a week.
I don’t much like the way google is changing myself. I like the old style search of Duckduckgo .
Right now, I am probably using them 50/50 each. I expect I will probably go to more duckduckgo as time goes by. I also have their browser installed and use sometimes.
THings are getting too intrusive.
If you think these are too intrusive consider a Linux distro.
Well, its getting to the point where its almost like if I tell my dog to go lay on her bed, I’ll get advertisements for dog beds.
I mean, I ordered “thefarmersdog” dog food and now i get the ads constantly on youtube and facebook. Same for the company I ordered my fake cockatiel from.
Its just gonna get worse with AI probably.
I probably wont get the new windows. I dont like the idea of their AI constantly recording pages on my pc so I could download some virus or something and some hacker can have any passwords I didnt have hidden when I typed them in.
I agree. I think that feature is going too far.
its keylogging
One of the newest “improvements” to Windows 11 is Windows recall which takes a screenshot of your system every 15 minutes or so. Like how Facebook shows that “you and person xyz have been friends for so many years or something.”
yeah, thats exactly what I was talking about. The new AI has something to do with that feature.
That means it may know more than our partner and maybe act like a spy or something to.our partner. Truly more scary.
It’s not every 15 minutes though., Its every few seconds! 
yes. it is spyware as a feature.
Google is in deep trouble cause a leaked document showed how their algorithm worked and found out that they were taking peoples data from the Chrome browswer.
If we buy phones laptops and internet, we are indirectly supporting them. So we are forced to use them and even if we don’t and use something else, majority of people use it.
They make huge money and make people lazy and bring them under their control somehow.

yeah AI is prob analizing us constantly and knows just what we might want. i was wondering yesterday if the gov. could be using AI to analize everyone and catagorize us.
I like Google.
I hope I can continue using it.
