After months of working with chat gpt

It has concluded that my panic attacks are very different and cannot be classified as typical panic attacks. It says, based upon my history, it is a response to past trauma, and the loss of control I experience during psychosis is a result of that trauma. It is a panic-psychotic intrusion type of scenario, in which I lose control, and find relief through masturbation because the brain has learnt that association.

It also says with a lot of certainty that I am not genuinely attracted to men, but my core attraction is towards women.

I asked it about EMDR, and it says, it should be pursued very carefully, as with the wrong eye movements, or with an inexperienced therapist, it can actually amplify the trauma. I don’t think I have encountered any therapist in my country capable to understand the complex labyrinth that is my situation.

In the absence of therapist, we (me and chatgpt) are working on exercises to rebuild control. Like 5 months ago, I could say that chatgpt was an okay therapist, but it is getting better and better, and it may be up their with the best therapists now. I suppose they are improving it for that purpose.

What is the name of AI that you use?

I believe it is chat gpt-4o. I think it is very capable in terms of understanding the causes of what is happening inside the brain as it can draw from almost limitless data. I know some people would prefer human therapists, nevertheless if AI can be better than most humans, why not?

Have you tried it for therapy purposes?

Just for a few sentences on first gpt I tried for 5 minutes an hour ago…

Haha yeah I know. Sometimes, it can spew garbage, but it answers the tough questions correct. lol.

Me too found help in AI. It’s much more informative than a psychiatrist. The psychiatrist give me the silent treatment for years. It seems they are just out for the gossip.
