I went into town to get my meds today. There was a women in front of me who took great pride in her appearance obviously. Then her phone rang and she said “oh hi honey…”
I was like “Geez, couldn’t I have even a minute of thinking you were single?”

The way she was dressed, her hair and makeup.

No, I mean, she looked like she put an effort into looking well. I wish I could. I was just there in my jeans and shirt and coat which needs to be dry cleaned soon.

I was stuck in a line-up at the Bank machine. A really old lady was holding us all up and forever pressing all of the buttons.
I whispered under my breath to the other people in line…
“I think she’s trying to log on to the Internet”
Everyone in the line-up burst out laughing!
