Help us get through losing our dog who loved
everyone in our home and tried so hard to stay.
I hope it helps me my spouse and survinging dog
To have comfort in a new member.

I’m sorry you lost your dog. My stepmom just had to put her dog down yesterday morning because he had cancer. I hope we can get a puppy or dog soon.

Playing Devil’s Advocate… Are you sure you can handle the financial commitment here? You have posted a lot about money stress and an additional pet will add to this. I’m not saying that you should or shouldn’t do this, just reminding you to maybe take a step back and consider this from a logical perspective as well as an emotional one.
I also recently lost a cherished pet so I know how you feel.

Yeah, you bring up a point, my spouse has urged me to wait too.
This is putting us from big credit debt to almost topping off. I just got a 2 new credit card. I’m one of those people the news says Americans are going in credit card debt.

I am worried for my surviving dog not having a companion, and with my routine off, he’s not getting his emotional needs met. My spouse loves our dogs, but doesn’t worry about their emotional needs.
