I'm so sad right now

We were paying our bills and we made a new budget for our upcoming bills. We can’t afford to take care of our Luna, golden retriever. She requires a lot of care. We’re forced to give her to my in-laws that are looking for a doggo. I’m so sad, because we won’t have her anymore. I know I’d be able to see her at my inlaws, but I love her so much. :sob::sob::sob::sob::sob:

I’m sorry you won’t be able to have her at your house anymore! I hope eventually you could take her back, but at least you can always go and visit! And I bet she’ll be happy to see you too!

Aww I’m so sorry. At least shes going to your in laws and you’ll still be able to see her. I know that doesn’t make you feel all that much better, but you’re doing the right thing.

I’m sorry. In a year I need to do the same with my girls. So hard to deal with losing a pet.

Just don’t put them down! MI runs in my family and my aunt who has schizophrenia had her dog euthanized instead of finding a home for the dog because She didn’t want to take care of the dog. Animal cruelty is a deal breaker with me. There’s no excuse for that! I’m talking about putting them down not rehoming them.

That’s so true! Nothing like the love and loyalty from your pets! I love the reception I get from my welcoming committee when I get home! Even if it’s just going out to get the mail, they act like I’ve been gone forever and I was never coming back!

If I was in the US, I would have taken her. I have two fluffs at home, including a really, really active Jack Russell Terrier.
