If you buy a subscription you get YouTube music as well.
I use YouTube music for all my music now.
I wish I’d paid a little bit extra to get YouTube videos ad-free.
Instead I paid a little bit less for YouTube music on it’s own.

. But I get some are fine with it.
Yeah ok, I bought the one called premium. I really hate watching commercials. Especially when it’s the same 3-4 commercials going again and again.

i hate the whole internet was based on free.
they could put the ad on the side
but its more effective to be intrusive and annoying vs pay premium.
everything free will be subscription eventually.

I can’t even read half the articles on my phone with ads jumping around and expanding over content and animating showing movies and pictures everywhere buy this come get this buy buy buy noooo I just want to read the tiny article I’m begging you…
On my PC it’s not an issue because ublock works so well. Are you using a Chrome extension? That’s what I’m using and my YouTube is still ad free on the laptop.

I’m using safari on my MacBook and chrome on my desktop. I think the adblock for chrome is working but no longer the one on my Mac. I could use chrome on my Mac but I prefer safari as it doesn’t drain the battery as fast.

Firefox ublock is good at blocking youtube ads still.

Get the free Brave browser. Blocks damn near everything and it’s faster.
