Adaptogens

Anyone know about adaptogens. I just purchased on Amazon some herbs. I got ginko biloba… Holy basil… Polyrachis (ground up ants) lions mane. Cordyceps and reishi.

Just looking for a solution to normalize and stabilize. Spiritual properties of these herbs are interesting.

Hopefully this will help me succeed in college and have more power to exercise

adaptogens seem to be pretty hit and miss for me. ive tried a few with little success. the best thing I’ve had is probably Siberian ginseng, but didn’t take it very long. in fact I’ve never really taking anything very long that I didn’t immediately feel working. I feel like I was kinda overly optimistic about herbs in my younger years but after some trial and error and wasted money I’m now a little more skeptical about their claims.

I take a mixture of Ashwagandha, Bacopa Monnieri, Green Tea Extract, Milk Thistle and Curcumin that’s called Protandim, and it seems to help me somewhat.

What has made the biggest difference for me was adopting an alkaline diet. It’s pretty picky though, and I’m not being as disciplined about it as I could be, but the changes I’ve made have reduced my positive symptoms significantly.

There is something called Suma Root that is an adaptogen, I have had a horrible speech problem for a good 3 years and I tried taking that and it miraculously cured me! I also feel better taking it.

I think Ginseng and Ashwaganda are adaptogens

They are. My herbs come in the mail tomorrow. I’m going to try them one at a time for 3 weeks each and document how they affect me.

I used to take maca powder, that stuff gives u alertness and energy. It’s an adaptogen.

reishi has been beneficial for me. I found the aswaghand to activating. So each to there own. but i feel more connected at work and life seems real for me. Only been a couple of weeks but i am staying on it on my work days.
