I was messed up really bad the first time I was in hospital. My psychosis really fried my brain. I thought one patient was speaking my thoughts out loud. So some crossed wires in my brain was putting the cart before the horse. But thatā€™s all it was. It wasnā€™t real.

Some part of your brain is putting the cart before the horse when it comes to your thoughts and what people are saying.

Abilify got rid of all of that for me but it took months.

Yes, it is the hope that medication will help with this.

Iā€™ve thought that I was broadcasting thoughts for 8 months straight, then I figured out it was the voice (hallucination) immitating peopleā€™s voices trying to delude me into thinking that I was broadcasting thoughts

Keep in mind, ALL delusions SEEM REAL! Otherwise they would just be called dreams. I realize it seems so real for you that it causes no doubt in your mind. But you need to acknowledge that it is the mind playing tricks on you. When I have them I donā€™t realize itā€™s an actual delusion until something happens that I know is impossible. Iā€™ve only experienced thought broadcasting twice, and it made me very uncomfortable. It took me a few minutes of what I thought were people laughing at me as they repeated some of my thought back to me for me to realize: ā€œWAITā€¦it canā€™t be done, why am I buying into to this nonsense?ā€ It was a real disturbing feeling, but now I just think of it as an evil twin in my mind trying to break me down however it can. The second time it happened I caught on much sooner. Even though it was still disturbing because itā€™s hard to know for sure what part is a delusion and what part it real. Likeā€¦ am I just imaging what these people are saying to me, or am I imaging them all together and they arenā€™t really even there in the flesh? That is the hardest part for me to discern. The gibberish that comes out of their mouth is the easy part to identify. Think of it this wayā€¦ If it is positive and supportive, then it Real. If itā€™s negative and destructive, itā€™s Not.

Also, another way to tell itā€™s fake is that if anyone was truly able to hear your thoughts, they wouldnā€™t be repeating them back to you!

Iā€™ve noticed that the tone of voice is lower and it feels more artificial without emotion(like monotonic agent smith in matrix movie) when I hear the fake voices with real ones.
Thatā€™s usually when I hear it inside the house and if I know the person.
Can someone tell other difference to the real voice?

You are totally rigth, the voices sound artificial if you pay attention
