Academic Survey for Australians Who've Had Psychosis

Hi folks,

I’ve shared this before but my aunty who’se sz aff is doing some post grad work on psychosis and how it relates to philosophy. A bit above my head but she needs some Aussie people to do a short ( 10 or so minutes ) survey about their experience of psychosis.

It’s been approved by the University and run by staff here so if your an Australian who hasn’t done it yet it would be great if you could volunteer a little time to help her out. I won’t put the details here but Message me and I can send you the link. and answer any questions you have.

Thanks for you time!

Maybe you can tag some people?

I can think of @SacredNeigh7 @Divergent @Ozzyskits

I will leave it up to them if they want to participate. I got a couple last time I shared so no pressure.

I wish I were Australian.

You guys have the best TV shows!

Good luck with your survey.

Haha…We are a weird mix as we get like UK stuff and American stuff. We kinda are a little different to both but an interesting blend!

I have a theory about why Australian TV is so funny.

American actors have to be sexy even if they’re in a comedy,

Australian actors go for the laugh regardless of how they look.

Being hot about it is less of a thing.

And the comedy is superior as a result.

I wonder if that’s just me?

It’s an interesting perspective. Australians are a little more down to earth with their humor but can be merciless. We don’t like individuals over others or the community so it’s different from how American humor works for sure. It was so much fun living over there being an Australian. You could get away with so much and my American friends would take most of what I said seriously.

It really is different from the US and UK. As I say. Most of our tv is from both countries and even Europe has had a huge affect on our culture. Most Australians are recent immigrants so there’s that as well…

You have an interesting take on it but your right it’s very different to your media.

Very, very true.

We Can Be Heroes and Kath & Kim are my favorite comedies for sure.

The American remake was a shitshow.

But those originals are so ■■■■■■■ funny.

I love it!

It’s not comedy but here they broadcasted ‘Married at First Sight Australia’. It was a very popular show with high ratings because of all the drama. My sister and mom also watched so I watched a bit as well.

Some participants even flew in to Belgium because they were considered celebreties and could get payed gigs.

It’s a strange world :grinning:
