Good video. I think I’ve run out of the stories to tell about my illness as I don’t do much nowadays. Have you had problems with alogia? I wonder if it cost me my government job.
I read all your posts about your alogia because I am going on two years with it. What eventually got you out of it, I know you were/are on risperidone right? How was it like when you finally felt fluency coming back, are you at 100 percent at the present moment?
I don’t know if I am fully back. I just know that I can have conversations with people again. I used to only be able to utter one word phrases. I guess maybe what works is meds so that the psychosis doesn’t make it worse, rest to heal the brain, and pushing yourself mentally so that you exercise it. I don’t know if I am lucky and other people won’t be able to get their speech back. I just know that it is possible. Maybe it is my home environment and when I move out I may find it coming back. Also maybe what caused it was the trauma from the extremely violent voices that I get.
