About to go back on risperdal temporarily

As without insurance I simply cannot afford rexulti, even with goodrx. I did apply for a program where the company that produces rexulti allows uninsured or underunsured individuals to receive it for a 15 dollar copay but haven’t heard back yet. Thankully I should have insurance again soon though.

I’m a bit wary about having to go back on risperidone as it gave me hyperprolactenemia and made me gain 30 lbs in 3 months. But hopefully I won’t be on it long and it did work very well for me, as well as Rexulti if not even better.

go on my med, generic prolixin…four dollars a script for me but I have medicare so I don’t know it shouldn’t cost anymore than that. and it is a miracle drug for me…fluphenazine is the generic name for prolixin…good luck.

1500 dollars for rexulti and that is WITH a large discount from goodrx. In no world could I afford that lol. All my other meds are like under 5 bucks with goodrx.

I don’t want to get political in any sense but I think that all countries in the world should have public health insurance just like here in Scandinavia. I can get every meds in the world I like for a few pence if I wanted to. I’m not on my current meds because they’re cheap but because they are the only ones that works for me with the exception of clozapine.
