I don’t think I can ask to get off the meds after what happened. I tend to have high levels of anxiety and when I got off the antipsychotic I had to go on an antidepressant that caused psychosis or brought it on made worse by withdrawals.
At least Abilify is containing some of the anxiety which is odd but apparently it also works as an antidepressant.
Ability is weird for me. Sometime it gives me anxiety and other time it stops anxiety - I honestly don’t know what to think anymore
When my anxiety is particularly bad I use propranolol but that has the risk of making me depressive and even as far as suicidal.
Abilify did nothing for me in anyway, I was anxious and psychotic on it. I’ve come to realize it doesn’t really matter what others say about a particular drug, What I suggest to anybody that asks is to study the drug so you know all possible side effects and benefits, but the only way to know how it will affect you is for you to try it.
