But it’s not been working for me at all and I almost feel it’s exacerbated some of my symptoms. I don’t think I should continue this med and if it continues causing me issues and not helping then I am switching. My dose was raised to 15 mg and if that doesn’t help my pdoc agreed we’re done with it. Sigh…

I suspect abilify has exacerbated my negative symptoms. Have you noticed that?
Try and error is the only way to find a med combination that works.
My anxiety has been significantly increased and so has my avolition. When I went on Zoloft initially and was not on Abilify, the Zoloft removed all of that.

From what I understand, 15mg is in the range of the therapeutic dose.
Hang in there, Anna. I’m on 20 mg of Abilify and except for a bit of weight gain, I’ve settled in nicely with the drug.
So you didn’t see any beneficial effects until you’d been on 20 mg?

Correct. But that was me. Everybody reacts differently. Give it a good shot on 15mg, and if you’re still experiencing bad side effects, keep trying something else until you find the med that works for you.
I’ve tried risperidone and latuda but went back to Abilify.
